Work Schedules Stylist Focus

All stylists starting with Bob Steele Salon must work 30 hours per week with two closing shifts and every other Saturday.

Stylists who have reached an Elite Level 6 may work three days, or 24 hours a week, but must still work two closing shifts as long as they are maintaining the benchmarks set forth by the salon IDP (this includes retention, UPT, productivity and attendance to Salon Celebrations and Quarterly Education).  Failure to maintain benchmarks will result in revoking the privilege. ** Stylists must maintain 30 hours per week for benefit eligibility**

Any stylist who reaches 10 years of employment and maintains 85% productivity or higher will be able to make their own schedule.  ** Stylists must maintain 30 hours per week for benefit eligibility**

Adjusted schedules will be allowed for various life events.  These can last up to a year before the regular work schedules go back into effect.  Adjusted schedules must have approval from management. **Stylists must maintain 30 hours per week for benefit eligibility**

Saturdays off - Stylist Focus

The salon will grant a schedule of not booking every other Saturday when the stylists meet the following standards:

  • Must be at an Elite Level 8 for a full quarter and meet, then maintain, all benchmarks set forth by the salon for the IDP (this includes retention, UPT, productivity and attendance to Salon Celebrations and Quarterly Education).  **Failure to maintain benchmarks will result in revoking the privilege.
